Shamarion Whitaker

Shamarion Whitaker is an author, motivational speaker and former inspirational FM radio talk show host. She is also the founder of a non-profit organization, New Beginnings for Women of Houston, Inc., an organization that fosters the physical, spiritual and emotional development of women and children. She is retired from the advertising and marketing industry. Shamarion has authored two books. Her first book, "How to Create Real Wealth, A Practical and Spiritual Guide for Women," a book about investing in personal and spiritual development, was published in September 2009. Her second book, "Learning to Live," a book about learning and living life's lessons, was published in September 2011. Shamarion has been married to Quincy Whitaker for 22 years. They have one son, and a granddaughter.
